The existing terrestrial configuration will undergo progressive changes due to proposed opencast mine and underground mine development, coal extraction, creation of haul roads, dumps, reclamation, and rehabilitation during mining process.
1.2 Clearance of existing land, vegetation and buildings? Yes Opencast and underground working will result in loss of homesteads/buildings that may come into use in quarrying zone, safety zone and infrastructure areas including loss of vegetation. Dhirauli, Phatpani, Sirswah, Amdand, Jhalari, Amraikhoh, Bansibridha, and Belwar villages are lying within the block has been identified to be rehabilitated and resettled. The displaced families are proposed to be rehabilitated and resettled colony in a nearby area after discussion with villagers.
