1.16 Facilities for long term housing of operational workers? No During Operation Phase: As proposed project is an Air Traffic Control tower and technical block at NSCBI Airport. The existing staff of ATC tower will be shifted from old building to new ATC building. No housing will be provided.

Yes During Construction phase: This project will provide employment to about 100 local labours during construction phase, which will lead to their better income sources. During Operation Phase: No additional employment will be generated as this project is only construction of ATC building and staff of existing ATC tower will be shifted after completion of the construction.

Dust & emissions are likely to be generated during construction activities which shall be reduced by sprinkling of water in a specific time interval & timely maintenance schedule for machinery. Water shall be sprinkled and tarpaulin cover shall be provided over stored raw material to reduce dust emission.
