1.6 Demolition works? Yes The project will be constructed in narrow area and may include demolition of obstructive structures like check dams, low level causeways, visarjan tanks, etc. which affects flood. Demolition work will allow safer passage of floods.
1.7 Temporary sites used for construction works or housing of construction workers? Yes Portable cabins for workers will be established at site. Drinking water, electricity, canteen, restroom, bathroom and toilet will be provided to the construction workers. The site is developing within PMC area. The site offices & the construction labor camps will be developed with the collection & conveyance network. The sewage from these areas will be disposed to the nearby municipal network. These networks are further then discharged to the treatment facility within PMC limit.

The waste converted shall be used as manure within the project area for the landscape. The non-biodegradable waste will be handed over to the authorized vendor.

Check dams are proposed to reduce the velocity and avoid soil erosion. The velocity will get reduced during dry weather flow and avoid the scouring, silting of the river bed.

The sewage collected from this facility will be connected to the sewage treatment facility within the project area. The decentralized sewage treatment facility is proposed within the project.
