Reason for Amendment : SWPGL is proposing to install/ retrofit the pollution control equipment to meet the revised emissions norms for thermal power plants vide S.O. 3305(E) dated 7th December, 2015. It is proposed to: Install ‘Wet Limestone’ based ‘Flue Gas Desulphurization’ (FGD) system for all four units Upgrade existing low NOX Burners to new version of Low NOX Burners for Boilers of all four units.

In this regard, it has been observed that the earlier environmental clearance was granted by the Ministry in the name of M/s Wardha Power Company Pvt Ltd, however, the proposal for amendment in EC has been submitted by M/s Sai Wardha Power Generation Private Limited and as per the record, the environmental clearance has not been transferred in the name of M/s Sai Wardha Power Generation Private Limited. Accordingly, you are hereby requested to obtain transfer of EC from M/s Wardha Power Company Pvt Ltd to M/s Sai Wardha Power Generation Private Limited, so as to process the recommendations of the EAC for amendment in EC.	06 Dec 2022
2.	Additional Information	we want to inform you that the application for Transfer of Environmental Clearance from M/s. Wardha Power Company Limited to M/s. Sai Wardha Power Generation Private Limited was submitted vide Proposal No: IA/MH/THE/293832/2022 dated: 09.11.2022.
