Reasons for Amendment
Reasons for Amendment :
We request for amendment in environmental clearance to reduce the safety distance for Marudaiyaru River to 50m instead of 100m based on the following points: Existing mining operations reflect no adverse impact on groundwater regime, Balance available minable reserves of 0.9 Mil T of Limestone and Marl available by reduction of safety zone, and based on scientific study carried out by Anna University. Besides, it is also proposed to extend the validity of EC upto project life/thirty years based on MoEF&CC Notification 12.04.2022.
