10 Reasons for Amendment
 
 Reasons for Amendment : 1. Permissible Mining of River Bed Material (Sand/Bajri) shall be limited to 11.2 lakh TPA (ROM) from an effective mineable area of 163.4503 ha. , with a maximum minable depth of 1 meter from the original ground level as reported in the replenishment study. The permissible minable material of 11.2 lakh TPA (ROM) will be valid till one year from the day of issuance of the EC. Depth of mining to be increased from 1mtr to 3 mtr from original ground level. 1.The reason for amendment is accounted to the fact that the production 11.2 lakh TPA accorded with area 163.4503 ha of excavation with depth of 3.0m. In compliance of Supreme Court order replenishment report has been submitted and fresh deposition of _ sediments on the river bed from replenishment report 4576320 MT is reported, desired excavation quantity is hardly 4.08% of the replenished quantity, therefore depth of mining should be increased from 1mtr to 3mtr from original ground level. Sediments on the bed, which if not removed will account for change in river morphology in the due course of time resulting in Public and asset losses. This production quantity and area of mining was determined by the royalty collected in the area on realistic basis. The same is in sync with the approved Mining Plan. The EC is desired for excavation of 11.2 Lakh TPA in an area of 163.4503 Ha as per the approved Mining plan in order to prevent State Exchequer & loss to Stake Holders. Depth of mining to be increased from 1.0m to 3.0m(As per Enforcement & Monitoring Sand mining Guidelines-2020”mining depth should be restricted to 3 meter & distance from the ¼th bank should be or river width & should not be less than 7.5 meters.” As per supreme court order dated 11-11-2021 mining with the maximum 3 meter depth from the original ground level. Validity of EC shall be made co-terminus with mining lease is granted for only 13 month. 2. The permissible minable material of 11.2 Lakh TPA (ROM) will be valid till one year from the day of issuance of the EC. Validity of EC shall be made Co-terminus with lease period. 2.As lease period is only 13 months from the date of execution of mining lease & replenishment study report is prepared therefore validity of EC should be co-terminus with mining lease period. Thus validity of EC shall be made (co-terminus with mining lease granted i.e) one year & production is also in conformity with the approved mining plan.
