Out of which 51.8 KLD will be Fresh Water and 8.2 KLD will be recycled water. 4.1 Spoil, overburden or mine wastes No There will be no overburden or mine waste. However, minor amount of soil will be generated during construction work. The same will be removed separately and will used for plantation.
4.2 Municipal waste (domestic and or commercial wastes) Yes Municipal Solid Waste (domestic) generated from plant and colony will be collected, segregated and disposed of scientifically. No commercial waste will be generated from the project.

5.1 Emissions from combustion of fossil fuels from stationary or mobile sources Yes The operation of project does not envisage any major air pollutant except emissions generating from boiler, D.G. set and vehicular movement. Dust collector (to control PM emission) and alkaline Scrubber (to control acidic fumes) will be installed with the Boiler and Process vents, respectively. 6.1 From operation of equipment e.g. engines, ventilation plant, crushers Yes Noise levels are likely to arise due to the installation of proposed project and the movement of machineries. Noise level will be kept below the limit prescribed by CPCB. Proper noise abatement measures will be taken and persons working close to machines and machine operators will be provided with personal protective equipment for further protection.
6.2 From industrial or similar processes Yes Noise is likely to be generated due to the running of the machinery during operation phase. Proper noise abatement measures will be taken for reduction of noise level viz. acoustic enclosures etc. The workers will be provided with personal protective equipment such as ear plugs/muffs for further protection.
6.3 From construction or demolition Yes Noise generated from construction activities will before a short period and will be maintained within the prescribed noise standards. No demolitions work is envisaged and hence no noise will be generated from demolition work.

Collection and storage of hazardous materials as well as hazardous waste will be carried as per Hazardous & Other Waste (Management & Trans-boundary Movement) Rules, 2016.

The industrial waste water generated from the project will be neutralized and will be sent to Evaporator. The condensed water will be recycled for dilution of the solvent in the chemical stage of production and as make up water for Cooling Tower. Domestic effluent generated from the plant will be treated in STP. Treated water will be recycled for gardening and sludge generated from STP will be used as manure.

Proper care & maintenance will be kept at the storage & material handling sections; as such the raw materials and hazardous chemicals will be stored in earmarked and isolated areas, in accordance with all statutory rules and regulations. Necessary safety precautions such as firefighting arrangement will be provided at these storage sites.

Yes APIs are essential for production & availability of drugs to reduce the impact of various diseases, as the Novel Corona Virus. In view of outbreak of COVID-19 & subsequent lockdown, the need to produce more APIs has increased. Thereby, to increase the production of drugs needed word wide, production of these APIs needs to increase. Proposed Project will result in growth of the surrounding areas with generation of direct & indirect employment avenues & improved standard of living.
