Sand will be stacked neatly under tarpaulin cover. Bricks, stones, steel, etc., will be laid open. After the completion of the construction works temporary sheds will be removed completely.

Yes Solid waste generated during operation phase shall be segregated into three streams: (a) organic waste to OWC, (b) recyclables to authorized recyclers, and (c) inerts/residual waste will be disposed to local municipal bins. Wastewater generated shall be collected through dual plumbing system, treated in STP. The treated water will be used for flushing, gardening etc.

As per estimate, required raw material quantities are: Stone/Aggregates – 3,37,500 Cft, Steel – 1000 Tons, Cement – 100000 bags, Sand – Rivers sand- 450000 Cft, 6’’cement blocks – 465000 Cft.

2.6 Energy including electricity and fuels (source, competing users) Unit: fuel (MT),energy (MW) Yes The total power requirement after considering diversity is around 940 KW (Connected load is 1825 KW) which will be sourced from Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Limited (HPSEBL). 1x1010 KVA & 1x630 KVA of DG sets are proposed for power back up.

During occupancy, emissions from DG sets (used as power backup source during power failures only for a short duration). The main emissions envisaged are PM, SO2 and NOx from DG sets. Vehicular emissions will be controlled by proper maintenance of the vehicle.
5.4 Emissions from construction activities including plant and equipment Yes To minimize and control emissions like dust, CO, HC, SO2 and NOx, expected from construction activities, regular water spraying/sprinkling and other suitable control measures will be adopted. Also, the vehicles carrying any material during construction will be covered by tarpaulin. However, the emissions during construction activity are temporary in nature.

These are temporary in nature and will be minimized by adopting proper maintenance such as greasing/oiling and insulations for noise abatement. Noise shall be generated during the operation of DG sets and for which acoustic enclosures will be provided to restrict the noise within the permissible limits.

6.5 From construction or operational traffic Yes Vehicular traffic during construction phase may generate noise levels of around 75 dB (A) depending on nature of equipment to be used and construction method adapted, however, the noise generation would be temporary in nature. During occupancy phase noise from vehicular movement is envisaged which will be maintained well within the permissible limit.

Yes Proposed project is a building and construction project which will be developed following guidelines of National Building Code and would give positive impact on land use. The project will have positive impact on socio economic conditions of the region, due to expected development of infrastructure and facilities in the surrounding area. Establishment of shops, small hotels etc. is also envisaged which will result in more revenue generation and alternative employment sources to the locals.

The proposed project will increase socio economics of the region and enhance the economy of the local traders.
