Additional DG set of 1x1000 KVA shall be Installed after expansion as power back-up. Fuel: HSD & LSHS is required as fuel for DG set.

5.1 Emissions from combustion of fossil fuels from stationary or mobile sources Yes During Operation Phase: PM, SO2, NOx, CO, HCL & HF emissions from Stacks attached to Boiler, DG sets & process reactor are envisaged. LSHS and HSD is being used in Boiler and DG sets respectively. Adequate stack height is provided for all flue gas stacks.
5.2 Emissions from production processes Yes In plant, expected pollutants are SO2, HCl, PM, & HF from Process stacks and PM, NOx, SO2, CO etc., from incinerator. All air pollution control techniques and systems are already installed in the plant to reduce the emissions. The plant is maintaining all emission norms prescribed by MoEF&CC/HPSPCB/CPCB. After proposed expansion, additional process stacks with appropriate pollution control system shall be introduced in the plants.
5.3 Emissions from materials handling including storage or transport Yes During operation phase, the Fugitive emissions from material handling, loading/ unloading and transport of material will be minimal due to closed loop system operated by trained workers.

5.5 Dust or odours from handling of materials including construction materials, sewage and waste Yes The emission generated from the process will be thoroughly scrubbed. All appropriate measures are taken to control odor and dust. No problem of odor is noted in the plant.

6.1 From operation of equipment e.g. engines, ventilation plant, crushers Yes The plant has various machines like DG sets, compressors, blowers, pumps and Boiler, which generates noise. These machines are already inbuilt with appropriate control measures to maintain the noise levels within limits. The equipment like Compressors, blowers, fans, various drums and elevators are provided with Acoustic pad insulation / Acoustic enclosures to limit the noise level as per the standard. These doesn’t affect water or land because of appropriate flooring & presence of spill control procedures. All applicable precautions are taken in storing and handling of hazardous chemicals. Solid material is stored in bags and Liquid material is stored in drums or storage tanks. Drums and bags are stored in warehouses with RCC non-permeable flooring.

The norms are maintained through regular monitoring and analysis of vent gases. The emission confirms the HPSPCB / CPCB norms and same shall be followed after expansion.
