Stage 3- Rotation of turbine blades using superheated steam to produce electricity.

3.1 Use of substances or materials, which are hazardous (as per MSIHC rules) to human health or the environment (flora, fauna, and water supplies Yes Chlorine, Hydrochloric acid, Ammonia, Hydrogen, Ferric chloride and sulphuric acid are being stored and used during operation of the proposed unit as per MSIHC Rules. 5.1 Emissions from combustion of fossil fuels from stationary or mobile sources Yes Combustion of coal for power generation shall result in the emission of flue gases primarily containing particulates, SO2 and NOx. From vehicular movement, negligible PM and NOx will be additionally generated.

However, the noise levels will be limited to threshold limits through design specification and provisions of acoustic enclosures and Silencers. Heat will also be dissipated from boilers due to coal burning but it will be controlled by use of thermal insulation.
