This land has been taken long term lease from Kolkata Port Trust Haldia Dock Complex for Industrial use. Yes A temporary shed would be made for the storage of construction materials during construction as per the requirement for the goods which cannot be stored in open space. Raw Material Storage Area & Finished Products Area will be developed for proposed expansion activities. Raw material & Finished goods stored separately.
1.15 Facilities for treatment or disposal of solid waste or liquid effluents? Yes An effluent treatment plant (230 KLD) shall be constructed for the proposed expansion units for treating the process liquid wastes. Details are provided in PFR Section 3.10. Additional quantity of Solid/hazardous waste will be sent to approved CHWT&DF Facility operated by West Bengal Waste Management Ltd. Details of Existing, proposed & total quantity of wastewater, solid and Hazardous waste generation is shown in Section 6.9 In pre-feasibility report.

No residential accommodation has been proposed for the proposed expansion unit. Workers of the plant are residing in the Haldia town.

Existing roads leading to plant site shall be used for material transportation and no requirements of new roads has been envisaged.

The fugitive emissions will be temporary and will be minimized by adoption of good construction practices
