Raw Material Storage Area & Finished Products Area will be developed for proposed expansion activities. Raw material & Finished goods stored separately.

An effluent treatment plant (230 KLD) shall be constructed for the proposed expansion units for treating the process liquid wastes. Details are provided in PFR Section 3.10. Details of Existing, proposed & total quantity of wastewater, solid and Hazardous waste generation is shown in Section 6.9 In pre-feasibility report.

Exiting man power of the plant is 134. The estimated Manpower requirement for the proposed expansion units shall be about 325 persons. No residential accommodation has been proposed for the proposed expansion unit. Workers of the plant are residing in the Haldia town.

Hazardous materials will be stored in designated storage area. Other materials will be stored in bags/drums on pallets on concrete flooring. Spillages of raw materials or finished products will be prevented. In case of spillage, materials will be collected and taken for recycle / treatment.

After expansion, total 200 KLD effluent will be generated from the process. Effluent will be treated through ETP (230 KLD capacity).
