Rukni Railway Station is about 1 km from the project site. National Highway-2 (NH-2) is passing around 32 km from the project site. All machineries and equipment can be transported by rail/road. Existing road and rail linkages will be utilized for this project. As such, no additional road and rail linkage will be needed / created for the project.

No Kolkata Port is around 210 km away and Haldia Port is 230 km away from the project site. Existing infrastructure in the surrounding area will be used for the project as is being used now.

5.1 Emissions from combustion of fossil fuels from stationary or mobile sources Yes The main air pollutant from the proposed project will be particulate matter, SO2 & NOx. The emission will be accounted due to use of fossil fuel, diesel operated equipment for various activities, vehicular movement etc. The precautionary / control measures, such as maintenance of vehicles on a regular basis, tall stacks (as per the guidelines of Central Pollution Control Board), water spray system will be used to control dust emission etc.
