Hence Provision of Navigation Lock shall be provided as per requirement of Inland Waterway Authority of India. A bridge is proposed to be constructed in barrage structure. The bridge will be connected to nearby existing road by constructing connecting road.

The average bed level/ crest level is 143.50 m. only 2.50 m depth water is proposed to store in river. No tapping of water is proposed from the barrage for drinking/ Irrigation/Hydro power or any other purpose.
