Yes The excavation required for construction of the highway shall be minimal and in no way shall intersect the groundwater table. Adequate cross drainage structures shall be provided based outcome of hydrology study. Hence, any significant negative effect is not envisaged on local hydrology system.
1.22 Stream crossings? Yes Project alignment is crossing the river at many places. Some of the major rivers being crossed by the alignment are Banganaga, Morel, Banas, Sanwan Nadi, Barah Nadi, etc. The details shall be provided in the EIA report.
