1.13 Production and manufacturing processes? Yes Coal received from the mines is crushed in the crusher house which is further powdered in the coal mills. The powdered coal is burnt in the furnace to generate steam in the boiler. The steam generated in the boiler is expanded in the HP & LP turbines and power is generated in the generator which will be transmitted to grid through switch yard. The steam after expansion in the turbine is condensed & recycled back to the boiler.

ETP & STP will be installed for treatment of plant effluents and sewage from plant and colony.

Fly ash collected in ESP will be stored in ash silos for transportation to cement & brick industries. Unutilized ash if any during exigency will be disposed in the ash pond.
