1.1 Permanent or temporary change in land use, land cover or topography including increase in intensity of land use (with respect to local land use plan) Yes Land Use: The land use of the mining lease area will be changed due to proposed mining activities. The total mining lease area is 4.99 ha. This is Govt waste land. Land Cover/Topography: Topographically the applied lease area is a part of mound and undulating topography, the highest elevation is of 303 m in the northern part while lowest one is of 280m in the eastern part thus total elevation difference is of 23m.The drainage of the of the area is towards the west to south and finally meeting
1.2 Clearance of existing land, vegetation and buildings? No Existing Land: The mine lease area is free from any development Vegetation: Permanent vegetation is less prominent Buildings: Mine lease area is free from any permanent or temporary building structures.
1.3 Creation of new land uses? Yes The mining activity will result in pits; therefore land use of ML area will change. However at the end of mine life, 0.045 ha area will be covered by plantation which will be beneficial for neighbouring villages.
