Pit layout has been planned in such a way that it will provide number of production benches to mine different types of ore as well as to control quality of the ore. There is no record of cloudbursts. The ML area is located on an elevated place. The highest elevation being 1010 MSL and the lowest is 935 MSL. There are no perennial water courses. Therefore there are no chances of flooding of this area. The area falls under zone II of the seismic zone map of India. Thus, there are remote chances of occurrence of earthquakes. The rock types exposed are hard and strong and therefore there shall be no landslides or
