The total project area is 8.0 hectares. Greenbelt has been developed on approximate 2.64 ha of total plot area covering the Plant boundary, sides of roads and around administrative building. The Solids waste from the Grain based operations (spent wash) generally comprises the fibers and proteins along with moisture in Wet Cake, ideal as Cattle Feed. The Yeast sludge is added to the Wet Cake.

5.1 Emissions from combustion of fossil fuels from stationary or mobile sources Yes Gaseous emission from fuel burning in boiler, which consists of common pollutants like SO2, NO2 and PM, would be discharged into atmosphere through stacks of suitable height. ESP will be installed to maintain the emission levels within prescribed standards.

The fugitive dust emissions during construction will be temporary and will be minimized by regular water sprinkling on the roads and other dust generating areas.

Water will be sprinkled and covered sheds will be provided for construction materials to reduce dust emission. Odour problems will be properly controlled at source by good operational practices, including physical and management control measures.
5.6 Emissions from incineration of waste Yes During Molasses based operation - The spent wash will be concentrated in MEE and the concentrated spent wash will be mixed with Bio mass or Coal and burnt in the incineration boiler. The emissions will be almost negligible. High efficiency ESP will be installed with adequate stack height to maintain the emission levels within prescribed standards.

But proper mitigating measures such as regular dust suppression by sprinkling water will help in reducing the effect. However, periodical monitoring will be done and results will be analyzed.
