Yes Total water requirement is about 30 KLD 2.7 KLD (Drinking &Domestic Uses) + 11.7 KLD (Plantation) + 15.6 KLD (Dust Suppression). Ground water will be extracted to meet the water demand at the mine site. Permission for the same was taken from CGWA vide letter no. 21-4(987)/WCR/CGWA/2012/-4064 dated 06 July, 2012.
1.24 Changes in water bodies or the land surface affecting drainage or run-off? No Surface and ground water will not be affected due to mining activity. There is no source of water within the leasehold area. Further there is no cause of contamination of water, as no industrial effluent will be discharged and there is no quarry discharge water from the mine.
1.25 Transport of personnel or materials for construction, operation or decommissioning? Yes The excavated mineral will be transported to own chemical and cement plant the ROM limestone will be transported to the crusher located near mine office, 3 km away from lease area and sized by crushing/ screening unit to get +50 to -100 mm sized chemical grade limestone which is a prime requirement of Soda-Ash plant. Most of the laborers will be engaged from villages adjacent to lease area. Hence transport facilities for commutation of mine workers are not required
1.26 Long-term dismantling or decommissioning or restoration works? Yes After the end of the life of mine the total mined out land will be used as water reservoir.
1.27 Ongoing activity during decommissioning which could have an impact on the environment? No After closure of the mining operations there will be no further activity.

4.1 Spoil, overburden or mine wastes No There is no waste/overburden will get generate during the proposed mining scheme period. The ROM will be transported to a crushing and screening unit located in the adjacent lease of TCL to this mine for further processing. Thus no location of storage of mineral is proposed within the lease area.

5.1 Emissions from combustion of fossil fuels from stationary or mobile sources Yes There will be emission of gases from combustion of fuel used in the transportation vehicles (trucks, tractors, etc.) for minerals. The emissions are of temporary type. Mitigation measures will be taken to reduce impacts from such emissions. The vehicles moving to and fro for transportation will have valid PUC certificate and low sulphur diesel will be used.
5.2 Emissions from production processes Yes Particulate Matter emitted during drilling, blasting, crushing, loading & transportation will be kept below the prescribed limits by adopting mitigation measures like adoption of wet drilling process and proper maintenance of drill bits, water sprinkling and periodic maintenance of HEMM.

Periodical maintenance of HEMM will be done regularly to control emission of exhaust fumes. Water sprinkling during loading and unloading of excavated materials is being/will be done.

5.5 Dust or odours from handling of materials including construction materials, sewage and waste Yes Dust will get generated during drilling, blasting and loading/unloading operations.
