However, temporary sheds along basic required facilities like water, power, fuel and adequate sanitary system will be provided for construction workers.

1.15 Facilities for treatment or disposal of solid waste or liquid effluents? Yes Solid Waste (Coal Rejects):About 2.0 MTPA washery rejects will be generated during the washing process. These will be stacked separately in the storage yard and will be consumed by 2x30MW and 2x135MW power plants owned by ACBIL. Liquid effluent: The effluent generated during washing will be treated with the help of high rate thickeners; belt presses and slime ponds to achieve zero effluent discharge. Domestic effluents from urinals and toilets will be treated in package type STP.
1.16 Facilities for long term housing of operational workers? No Centralised residential colonies were constructed by ACB (India) Ltd and accommodation for work men can be made available to the extent possible. So no separate residential colony will be provided for this project.

Surface run-off from the washery premises will be collected in settling pond and will be used for dust suppression and plantation in the washery complex.

During operation phase the raw coal will be transported up to coal washery through existing road. The washed coal will be transported to the railway siding by trucks and from there, by rail to the end users Transport of men and material during construction and operation phase will be by existing roads.

Therefore, there will be some influx of people in and around washery site till the operational life of washery.
