The airport has parking bays for Two ATR 72 / Bombardier Q400, and Four Boeing Airbus A321 Additional land required for runway extension is 698 acres (282.47 ha) which is located towards northern side from airport boundary. There will be a permanent change in land use as the required land of 698 acres (282.47 ha) needs to be converted as industrial land use.

However, the air emissions will be more of gaseous in nature and hence ground deposition is not envisaged.

No Earthquake: The project area falls under seismic zone-III as per IS: 1893 (Part-1): 2002 Flooding: The Krishna river has huge quantum of catchment of rain water results many of the occasions as a natural flood and affects the nearest areas of river bunds. As the airport is far away from the Krishna river no affect of floods to the airport operations envisaged. Runway was not affected and not inundated during this period. Landslide: No land sliding is envisaged.
