Majority of the site area is rocky and undulating, and requires minor topographic change as part of site development for the proposed plan which also leads in land cover change. Presently less than 15 ha of land is in agricultural usage, while the remaining land parcel is rocky and undulating barren land.

The water will be recirculated through cooling and treatment. The entire wastewater after necessary treatment will be recycled for various purposes inside the plant. Domestic wastewater will be treated in STP. The detailed solid waste management is elaborated in Annexure IV.
1.16 Facilities for long term housing of operational workers? No Local people will be employed and transportation facility for the local workers will be provided. Current plan is to employ locals to the maximum extent.
1.17 New road, rail or sea traffic during construction or operation? Yes Existing – connecting Road between Jammalamadugu – RTPP Power Plant connecting road shall be strengthened to 4 lane road. Railway siding from Muddanuru RS is Proposed.
1.18 New road, rail, air water borne or other transport infrastructure including new or altered routes and stations, ports, airports etc? Yes Railway sliding from Muddanuru RS is Proposed.
1.19 Closure or diversion of existing transport routes or infrastructure leading to changes in traffic movements? No No closure or diversion of existing transport route is envisaged.
1.20 New or diverted transmission lines or pipelines? Yes New Power transmission and water supply pipelines are planned for the proposed project.
1.21 Impoundment, damming, culverting, realignment or other changes to the hydrology of watercourses or aquifers? No Storm water management plan shall ensure minimum disturbance of drainage within the site, without disturbing the inlet and outlet points of storm water drainage.
1.22 Stream crossings? No There is no stream crossing in the project site.
1.23 Abstraction or transfers of water from ground or surface waters? No Total water requirement of 4200 m3/hr (approximately), shall be met from Gandikota Reservoir. Water requirement is presented in in Annexure III.
1.24 Changes in water bodies or the land surface affecting drainage or run-off? No There are no natural water bodies or major drainage channels within the site. However, the drainage shall be planned by considering the intensity of rain fall of the area.
1.25 Transport of personnel or materials for construction, operation or decommissioning? Yes The construction material shall be drawn from local sources within 10 - 25 km. Transportation shall be provided by APSRTC for transport of personnel.
1.26 Long-term dismantling or decommissioning or restoration works? No No such work is involved in this proposed project.

1.28 Influx of people to an area in either temporarily or permanently? Yes During construction phase local people will be hired from local villages on temporary basis. The proposed green field project shall increase employment potential and may lead to migration to surrounding villages due to opportunities for indirect employment.
