The effluent generated during manufacturing 83.5 CMD would be treated in existing ETP which will be upgraded. The effluent segregated Stream-I & Stream-II shall be comprises of Pri.,Sec.,tert.,Treat., followed by MEE & MEE condensate to Stream-II. Salts be to CHWTSDF. Stream-II & MEE condensate treated in Pri., Sec., Tert. treat. with RO & treated water will be recycle to achieve ZLD. Domestic effluent 15 CMD to be treated in existing STP.

For domestic purpose 21 CMD and gardening 35 CMD. Under existing unit, 114.5 CMD of total water is required. Out of this 93.5 CMD water is required for industrial activities. For domestic purpose 16 CMD and 5 CMD for gardening. Fresh water would be taken from MIDC Water Supply Scheme. Refer Anne.-VI additional attachment for detailed water consumption.

The average electricity required for existing operations is to the tune of 1255 KWH and after expansion activity would be 2320 KWH. One D.G. set of 500 KVA capacity will be installed in expansion.

4.1 Spoil, overburden or mine wastes No Since it is proposed expansion project. During implementation of expansion activity there shall not be any major generation of overburden. During construction of building and infrastructure required for manufacturing of proposed products, there would be activities such as excavation, back filling etc. However, once the construction gets over, the entire excess soil, if any, would be utilized through proper landscaping within the premises of the industry.

5.1 Emissions from combustion of fossil fuels from stationary or mobile sources Yes Under expansion - One 10 TPH boiler will be installed. For Boiler -250M3/D-Natural gas or 120 T/D - Bagasse / Briquette as a fuel and MDC followed by bag filter in the form of APC equipment to be provided. For power backup -. DG set of 500 KVA will be installed. Under existing unit - One 4 TPH boiler & 1TPH, TFH is installed. Bagasse/Briquette as fuel is used for same. APC in form of Dust Collector and stack is provided. D.G. set of 250 KVA is installed.
5.2 Emissions from production processes Yes Process emissions in the form of acidic, alkaline and solvent vapours are generated from the existing process and the same would be generated from proposed expansion activities. The emissions from the process would be taken care of through scrubbers.
5.3 Emissions from materials handling including storage or transport Yes Negligible amount of emissions would be generated during storage/ transport of material. The same will be being taken care of through existing 9 nos. as well as additional 12 nos of scrubbers in expansion.
5.4 Emissions from construction activities including plant and equipment Yes Buildings and equipments required for expansion will be established on new plots under expansion. Same will be taken through sprinkling of water.

6.2 From industrial or similar processes Yes There would be no major noise generating sources other than boiler house & D.G. Set installed in existing unit. Same are kept in an isolated area, which is provided with proper acoustic treatment to have the ambient noise levels as per CPCB standards. As per the Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control) Amendment Rules, 2010, the existing D.G. set is enclosed in a separate canopy. Workers are provided with Earmuffs & other PPEs. Same precaution measures shall be practiced after expansion also.
6.3 From construction or demolition Yes During the construction or fabrication work, due to operations of machinery and equipment, some noise would be generated. This would be of temporary nature and the workers getting exposed would be provided with PPE.

7.1 From handling, storage, use or spillage of hazardous materials No Proper handling and storage is followed to avoid spillage/leakage of hazardous chemicals closed handling practices, dyke wall are provided. Routine monitoring of chemical storage area is being done to check leakages to avoid contamination with water, air, soil etc. Further, the Hazardous Waste generated is stored into the underground tank in predefined area. To avoid seepage of leachate to ground water, the area is provided with liner. Same practice shall be followed under expansion activity.

The effluent generated to be treated in existing ETP which will be upgraded. The effluent segregated in 2 streams. (2.)29/09/20201. This is an expansion proposal accordingly, the PP shall submit the certified compliance report to the conditions of CTO from the SPCB. 2. Based on the information submitted by PP it is Category B2 project. It is not clear why PP has applied at Central Level on Parivesh Portal. 3. Moreover, some of the products are API Intermediate, However, the Notification dated 27.03.2020 is only for API. Please recheck your products mentioned in the application. 4. Details of Raw material and its linkage and its mitigation measure during transportation needs to be submitted. 5. All old CTOs not uploaded to verify the violation, if any done by PP. 6. Details of earlier production capacity needs to be authenticated and uploaded to check the violation, if any. 7. Please check your proposal once again and submit the above mentioned information. It is also mentioned that the processing of EC proposal, in the Ministry, is through Parivesh Portal only, therefore providing the requisite information/documents shall be in compliance and accordingly the PP/Consultant are kindly requested to revise the application and resubmit the same.
