Closed feed system of materials will be adopted for chemicals charging wherever required.
5.4 Emissions from construction activities including plant and equipment Yes Increase in particulate matter, SO2 and NOx during construction phase, which will be of a temporary nature.
5.5 Dust or odours from handling of materials including construction materials, sewage and waste Yes Increase in particulate matter/ odour, during construction phase, which will be of a temporary nature.

6.2 From industrial or similar processes Yes Plant Operation: Noise & vibrations will be generated in industrial operations & processes. To control vibration: Shock absorbing and vibration absorbing pads will be provided. To control Noise: Acoustic Enclosures will provide to necessary equipment's to ensure compliance with CPCB/ MPCB standards.
6.3 From construction or demolition Yes Increase in noise during construction phase. However, this will be of a temporary nature.
6.4 From blasting or piling No No blasting or pilling operations involved.
6.5 From construction or operational traffic Yes There will be generation of noise & vibrations from vehicles used for transportation of materials during operational phase of the proposed project. To keep such noise & vibrations at minimal level it will be ensured that vehicles with valid PUC certification will only be used for transportation activity.
6.6 From lighting or cooling systems Yes Noise and vibrations will be generated from operation of cooling towers during the operational phase of the project. To keep such noise & vibrations at minimal level periodic checks & maintenance of the same will be done.

7 Risks of contamination of land or water from releases of pollutants into the ground or into sewers, surface waters, groundwater, coastal waters or the sea:

7.1 From handling, storage, use or spillage of hazardous materials No Chemicals in warehouse will be provided with adequate safety features as per norms. Secondary containment will be provided for all the storage. Spillage if any during handling & operations will be tackled as per the onsite & offsite emergency preparedness plan.
7.2 From discharge of sewage or other effluents to water or the land (expected mode and place of discharge) No Not Applicable. Sewage will be treated and reused for green belt. Trade effluent will be treated in ETP & recycled back within facility. The project will be Zero Liquid discharge facility.
7.3 By deposition of pollutants emitted to air into the land or into water No Appropriate care will be taken. Stack of adequate height & APC will be provided as per CPCB norm.
7.4 From any other sources No Risks of contamination of land or water from releases of pollutants into the ground or into sewers, surface waters, ground water, coastal waters or the sea from any other sources is not anticipated.
7.5 Is there a risk of long term build up of pollutants in the environment from these sources? No It will be ensured that all the pollution control devices will be maintained as such to achieve the prescribed release/emission standards throughout the project cycle. Also Environmental Management Plan will be strictly followed.

(2.)29/09/2020Based on the information submitted by PP it is Category B2 project. It is not clear why PP has applied at Central Level on 01.09.2020 on Parivesh Portal. It is noted that on 01.09.2020 SEIAA is in existence. Moreover, some of the products are API Intermediate, However, the Notification dated 27.03.2020 is only for API. Please check your proposal once again.
