Thus, these considerable employment & trade opportunities will eventually result in appreciable economic benefits to the local people & businesses/contractors. 1.NAProposal is returned due to the following shortcomings: Form 2: i. In s.no.6, existing EC and ToR has not been uploaded. ii. In s.No.4, not able to access the KML file. Appropriate KML file shall be uploaded. iii. In s.no. 7.1, entire PH proceedings inter-alia including SPCB cover letter, actual proceedings, attendance sheet, written representations and the response submitted shall be uploaded. iv. In s.no.9, certified compliance of RO shall be submitted. In case of non-compliances reported by RO, closure report from RO shall also be submitted. v. In s.no. 14.1, PM10 monitored level is reported as 195 µg/m3 which is more than prescribed limits. Probable reasons for the same may be elucidated. vi. In s.no.15, permission for supply of 6000 KLD from Asansol Municipal Authority shall be submitted. In the absence of said approval, alternate source of water supply shall be furnished. vii. In s.no. 22, inadequate area has been earmarked for the green belt development. Revised table covering 33% of the total area shall be furnished. viii. The project is located in Durgapur which is CEPI area having score of 65.56. Whereas, in s.no. 23.1, it is mentioned there is no critically polluted area. Reasons for suppressing the said information and control measures proposed by the project proponent as per the Ministry’s OM. Dated 31/10/2019 regarding consideration of proposals in CEPI area shall be incorporated in the EIA report and submitted. ix. In s.no. 32, kindly furnish the time bound action plan for green belt development covering 33% of the 36.43 ha with appropriate layout. EIA report i. Undertaking by the project proponent owning the contents of the EIA report shall be furnished as per the QCI/NABET requirements. ii. Page numbering for the figures as well as Annexures mentioned in the EIA report shall be incorporated. iii. The project is located in Durgapur which is CEPI area having score of 65.56. Reasons for suppressing the said information in the EIA report and control measures proposed by the project proponent as per the Ministry’s OM. Dated 31/10/2019 regarding consideration of proposals in CEPI area shall be incorporated in the EIA report and same shall be submitted. iv. In chapter 2, the details of Top Recovery Turbine on Blast furnace shall be furnished. v. In chapter 2, water balance submitted is not visible. Further, material balance of the 0.6 MTPA shall be furnished. vi. In chapter 3, the source for presence of poly aromatic hydrocarbons and other metals in the ambient air shall be furnished. vii. In chapter 4, AAQ modeling isopleths may be superimposed on topo map with wind rose diagram and the receptor details shall be provided. viii. In chapter 4, kindly furnish the time bound action plan for green belt development covering 33% of the 36.43 ha with appropriate layout. ix. In chapter 8, cost earmarked towards CER is not as per the Ministry’s O.M. dated 1/5/2018. This may be reworked out and submitted. 16 Jun 2020
