3. ADS Reply LetterWith reference of 234th EAC Meeting held on dated 27.04.2020, we are herewith submitting the reply of ADS raised on 12.05.2020. It is requested to kindly consider the reply for grant of Environmental Clearance. 14 May 2020
4.NAAs per ADS raised during 234th EAC meeting held on 27.04.2020, the proponent is required to reply for points no. (v) to (xix) only. It is also observed that two replies have been submitted on 09.05.2020. For examination purpose, the upper one has been considered. The point wise observations are as under: 1. RESPONSE AT S. NO. VI: it is mentioned that detailed study on ‘Salt pan, water bird and water draining pattern and changes that can occur especially during rains and floods’ has been carried out as per scope mentioned in ToR conditions and referred the annexures II and III. However, one perusal it is observed annexure II (page 239 of ADS reply document) is a map only that shows the distance of salt pan from the proposed alignment. Likewise, annexure III (pages 240-272) shows only certain hydraulic calculations for one major bridge and five minor bridges along with few maps (date and scale not mentioned) showing boundaries of catchment areas. The detailed of methodology for data collection, analysis and subsequent findings are not discussed and compiled in report form. 2. RESPONSE AT S. NO. VII: Same as above. Annexure III (pages 240-272) shows only certain hydraulic calculations for one major bridge and five minor bridges along with few maps (date and scale not mentioned) showing boundaries of catchment areas. The detailed of methodology for data collection, analysis and subsequent findings are not discussed and compiled in report form. 3. RESPONSE AT S. NO. VIII: Map showing ESZ has been provided (pages 273-275). This does not show the distribution and movement of Wild Ass along the proposed alignment and cross over sites on the basis of Wild Ass census data collected by the State Forest Department of Gujarat. 4. 5.NAAs per ADS raised during 234th EAC meeting held on 27.04.2020, the proponent is required to reply for points no. (v) to (xix) only. It is also observed that two replies have been submitted on 09.05.2020. For examination purpose, the upper one has been considered. The point wise observations are as under: 1. RESPONSE AT S. NO. VI: it is mentioned that detailed study on ‘Salt pan, water bird and water draining pattern and changes that can occur especially during rains and floods’ has been carried out as per scope mentioned in ToR conditions and referred the annexures II and III. However, one perusal it is observed annexure II (page 239 of ADS reply document) is a map only that shows the distance of salt pan from the proposed alignment.
