This Ministry has never termed your project as "Expansion". However, in the conceptual plan submitted by you, it has been mentioned, inter-alia that “Now, we are changing the usage of commercial area on ground floor and first floor to banquet hall. Due to which population, waste water generation, STP capacity & solid waste generation is increased. Structure work has been completed at site.” 3. Keeping in view the above-mentioned submission made by you; vide ADS dated 13.04.2020, MOEFCC has sought status of compliance to conditions stipulated for construction phase in EC accorded to the original project in 2012. 4. Accordingly, you are once again requested to coordinate with concerned authority and submit compliance to conditions of EC accorded to the original project in 2012. 5. It has been desired to obtain the certified compliance prior to further processing of the Proposal. 13 May 2020

4.NAThe matter has been examined in the Ministry. As this is modernization proposal for which Environmental Clearance had already been accorded. It is desirable to ascertain the compliance of the conditions of EC accorded in 2012 to the original project. A certified compliance report may accordingly be obtained. Furthermore, in terms of extant policy guidelines, the incremental cost of the project towards the proposed modernization and a commensurate CER Plan (as mandated by the guidelines) also needs to be submitted. 2. In this regard, you are requested to submit following: (i) Certified Compliance Report issued by the MoEF&CC, Regional Office or concerned Regional Office of Central Pollution Control Board or the Member Secretary of the respective State Pollution Control Board for the conditions stipulated in the earlier environmental clearances issued to the project along with an action taken report on issues which have been stated to be partially complied or non/not complied. (ii) Incremental project cost and accordingly plan for Corporate Environment Responsibility (CER) as specified under Ministry’s Office Memorandum issued vide letter F.No. 22-65/2017-IA.III dated 01.05.2018 shall be prepared and submitted. 13 Apr 2020
