1. | ADS Reply Letter | NA | 15 Oct 2020 | 2. | NA | The matter was further examined in the Ministry. Accordingly, following information needs to be submitted by the PP within two days
(i) The project proponent has undertaken product mix change in the year 2015 without obtaining prior EC. As per the EIA Notification, 2006, the project required prior Environmental Clearance. However, the Ministry has given certain clarifications in this regard and OM has been issued. The project proponent shall provide adequate justification for not taking EC along with the supporting OMs, if any. The project proponent shall also submit an undertaking that the dry weight/wet weight mentioned in the CTOs are equal in quantity and PP has not increased any production after 2006.
(ii) The PP has proposed for discharge of effluents in the CETP and Committee has suggested for ZLD. Accordingly, revised water balance and detailed ZLD plan shall be submitted.
(iii). Ground water permission for existing operation and status of permission for the proposed usage. Adequate justification for not obtaining ground water permission for the existing unit, if applicable, shall be provided.
