            Essential Detail Sought:

1.NAPP has already submitted a same proposal vide another no. IA/CG/IND/113837/2019 which was examined and following EDS was raised by Ministry on 13/08/2019 : 1. Existing Environmental clearance was obtained under the EIA Notification 1994 and so far public consultation has not been carried out as per the procedure prescribed in the EIA Notification, 2006. 2. In view of the above, proposal does not qualify under para 7(ii) of EIA Notification, 2006 as per the Ministry’s O.M. No.J-11013/41/2006-IA.II(I) dated 24/08/2009. 3. It is requested to apply for grant of ToR as per the prescribed procedure laid down in the EIA Notification, 2006. However, the same proposal has been uploaded on PARIVESH with new proposal number. In view of the above, the instant proposal is returned again with the aforesaid EDS. Further, it may be noted that submission of same proposal again under clause 7(ii) may invite coercive action against project proponent as per extant provisions laid down in the EIA notification, 2006. 19 Nov 2019
