ADS Letter	Sub: Drilling of development wells (KSDA and KSDB) and conversion of exploratory wells (KSAB and KSAG) to development wells at Kasomarigaon, Assam Asset at Kasomarigaon, Assam by M/s Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited –Minutes of Meeting-reg This has reference to the minutes of meeting held on 16th October, 2020 (Friday) at 03.00 PM through video conferencing (VC) to discuss the above mentioned project submitted by M/s Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd (ONGC) for environmental clearance, under the Chairmanship of Secretary (EF&CC). 2. As per the decision taken in the minutes of the meeting, M/s ONGC has requested for grant of environmental clearance to the well KSAB having forest clearance and proposed to drop drilling at location KSAG. It was also noted that, drilling of wells KSDA & KSDB horizontally from KSAC shall be considered after submission of report constituted by MoPNG to clarify the possibility of adopting new technologies such as Extended Reach Drilling (ERD)/ Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) with surface facilities including drilling rigs etc. in which ONGC representative is also a member. 3. In this regard, M/s ONGC is requested to submit the request to the Ministry regarding dropping of drilling at location KSAG. Further, it is also requested to provide details of proposal submitted, if any, with the Regional Office of the Ministry at Shillong for modification in forest clearance of well KSAC/ proof of application for Stage I FC for KSDA & KSDB wells. It is requested that the information may be provided immediately for taking further action into the matter.	13 Nov 2020
