S. No.Type of Project Benefits Details of Project Benefits
(1.)EnvironmentalThe augmented capacity will help reduce waiting time and overcome the congestion of traffic, in various regions in the state of U.P. Thus, proposed Expansion will directly or indirectly reduce the consumption of natural resources such as wood and coal which will eventually help in saving the environment.
(2.)FinancialThere will be an additional central excise, and other applicable taxes through the proposed storage capacity augmentation. This will contribute to the regional/central revenue and will be further put in public expenditure.
(3.)SocialThere will be a positive impact on the indirect employment of the region. • Transporters (Trucks and logistics) contract with BPCL for distribution purpose will increase and this would result in the additional employment by the transporter (in-contract). • Due to gas transportation activity, petty food joints and & others en-route (fruits and vegetable markets) will be benefitted, to full fill the need of associated people.
