5.NAIn continuation to our earlier observations, following need to be further clarified:- - Whether the specialty chemicals mentioned in the CTE dated 4/6/2002 of production capacity 32.9 TPM, were not required prior EC in terms of the provisions of the EIA Notification, 1994, - As per the present provisions, Category A of item 5(b) covers only those units producing technical grade pesticides, and as such, new products of capacity 75 TPM need to be re-categorized vis-a-vis the schedule to the EIA Notification, 2006. 15 Dec 2018

7.NAOur last observations dated 15/12/2018 need to be addressed properly along with supporting documents to ascertain the requirement of prior EC for the present industrial operations, and also categorization of the project (A/B) for mfg pesticide intermediates. 11 Jan 2019

9.NA(i) It is noted that there are various deficiencies in Form 2 (viz. S. no. 6, 9.1, etc.) uploaded by the PP and accordingly Revised Form 2 shall be submitted incorporating all the information related to the project. (ii) Detailed Plan for Corporate Environmental Responsibility and its implementable schedule with budgetary provisions needs to be resubmitted. (iii) Consent to Operate for the present Industrial operations needs to be submitted. (iv) Accurate water balance with details of total water and fresh water requirement, and permission/MoU/NOC from concerned regulatory authority needs to be submitted. (v) Effluent treatment mechanism with plan for Zero Liquid Discharge needs to be submitted. (vi) Details of Raw material linkage and its mitigation measure during transportation needs to be submitted. (vii) Submit details of existing products as the same is not mentioned in the Form-2. (i) Submit plan as per the Ministry’s office memorandum 31st October, 2019 regarding projects located in critically and Severely Polluted Area. 05 Dec 2019
