            Essential Detail Sought:
Sno. EDS Letter Remarks Date of EDS
1.NAPlease inform/clarify the following:- - As per the CCR dated 12/9/2018, no drilling activity was taken up during last 7 years. That reveals about the project for which EC was issued on 24/12/2010, was actually not implemented. In such a case, how the project would qualify under expansion category (Proposed oil production from 20 to 220 bbls). - EC was granted for drilling of two appraisal wells. In case the project not implemented, and no EC obtained for development and production of oil and gas, how CTO has been obtained for crude oil production of 300 cum/day and natural gas 450000 cum/day. In view of the above facts, the proposal involves violation of the EIA Notification, 2006. 12 Oct 2018
2.NAThe correction have been made as per the instruction received 16 Oct 2018
3.NAPlease refer our earlier observations. In response, your reply is silent on present oil production of 20 bbls. Also, no clarification has been provided regarding CTO already obtained for crude oil and gas production without obtaining the EC. - The earlier EC no more valid as of now and the project as per the approved scope of work, not implemented within the validity period, the present proposal would not qualify for expansion. In fact, works still going not against the earlier EC dated 24/12/2010 amounts to violation of the EIA Notification, 2006. 23 Oct 2018
4.NAThe correction have been made as per the instruction received 27 Oct 2018
5.NAIt is difficult to understand as to how even the Extended Well Testing still continues after expiry of the EC dated 24/12/2010, which actually amounts to non-compliance. Further, as observed earlier also vide queries dated 12/10/2018 & 23/10/2018, there is no convincing reply on present oil/gas production and the CTO from SPCB without obtaining EC for development/production for the same. The matter may be discussed with the concerned JS in the Ministry for further consideration. 06 Nov 2018
6.NAThe correction have been made as per the instruction received 30 Nov 2018
