(1.)EnvironmentalAdditional Clinker for PPC cement manufacturing in Grinding Units. WHRBs will utilise Kilns Heat for Power Generation and reduce coal consumption.
(2.)SocialThere are 388 direct employees and 1,398 indirect employees, thus, total 1,786 employees (as on 15.03.2018) working in KSR Nagar Cement Plant, Power Plant and Captive Mines. Proposed Expansion will give direct employment to about 50 persons and indirect employment to another 100 persons. There will be a huge positive impact due to the proposal by improved local and regional economy.
(3.)FinancialRamco is investing an additional amount of Rs.680.00 Crores for the Expansion Activities to the Existing Project Cost of Rs.1,040.31 Crores. Ramco will be spending Corporate Environment Responsibility (CER) Fund of Rs.5.00 Crores for the villages located around the Cement Plant in addition to the CSR Works being carried out now.
